About Us

The group was established in 2015 and is chaired by Dr Russell Walmsley. At its formation the group was primarily endoscopy clinicians but over time EGGNZ has expanded its key stakeholders and now includes a comprehensive group of clinicians, educators and health managers.

Funding

EGGNZ currently receive funding for work on Bowel Cancer Screening Quality Standards, oversight of NEQIP and Development of Accreditation directly from the Ministry of Health.
